I think I’m going to start something new on my blog–FANTASTIC FRIDAY! Because you know, there just isn’t enough kitten cuteness in the world. So, here’s the latest “cute kitten” picture from Tenzin, the formerly feral kitten. He’s about six months old. He thinks that my glass of water (and yes, I drink out of care bear and smurf glasses we got during the 80’s) is his personal water bowl. So here is today’s dose of kitten cuteness! May you have a fantastic Friday!  I received word this evening that The Wrong Woman will release from Noble Romance on June 2! Boy four releases in like one month (from April 30 - June 2). It’s going to be busy…. Now that the weather is warmer and I have my flower boxes planted, one of the best things I like to do is go outside to my deck with my laptop and write. I work from home. I love it, but it also means that I spend a large amount of my day in my den. It’s a nice den. I have inspirational pictures of all types (many I picked up at science fiction conventions, such as the Jody Lee print of the Winds of Fate cover art and the portrait of Londo and G’Kar) on the walls. My desk faces the window, and for the first time since I’ve planted them, my lilac bushes just underneath are blooming. (which may explain why my allergies are acting up). But there’s just something about going outside, getting out of my den to write.

Just a hint… 1. I loved De’s character in I’m Okay, You’re Dead (awesome title too!). How did you get the spark for her story? I love mysteries but always wanted more of the why behind the crime. Not just the motive but what made that person a criminal? And one day it just clicked if I made the main character psychic with a background in psychology, she’d have a new level of access to the internal workings of the criminal mind. De’s very smart but communicates in a very direct and sarcastic manner that helps her diffuse tension. Plus it’s a great challenge as a writer. How do you surprise a psychic?
